About the Role. We need your leadership and hands-on talent to help with all aspects of our marketing function, from product and brand to corporate marketing. Overview of Responsibilities. This key position will be responsible for a broad range of marketing activities with a diverse set of business partners, including:

  • Creating, shaping, and publishing engaging content
  • Work closely with internal and external marketing team members to develop and manage an editorial calendar of content and communications
  • Creating, recommending, and implementing marketing programs and campaigns
  • Using our integrated email marketing platform to drive automation, customer engagement, and key business metrics
  • Developing requirements with internal business partner teams to identify opportunities for further automating the user experience – and delighting each customer
  • Ensuring regular collection of customer feedback across touchpoints, including NPS
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing key industry events for the company and with partners where required
  • Managing website and social media properties and engagement
  • Driving the development and management of a marketing budget
  • Assisting with PR/communications strategy and requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

The candidate must be a self-starter in the true sense of the phrase and work with minimal supervision managing projects through completion. Candidates may be required to show examples of previous work.  Other requirements of the position include:

  • Proven ability to drive both strategy and tactics aligned to growth targets/outcomes
  • Produce effective content pillars, email marketing programs, and associated assets such as whitepapers, blog entries, eBooks, and videos.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools/platforms, e.g., ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or equivalent platform (especially concerning campaigns, leads, and reporting)
  • Strong understanding of digital communication strategies, both written and visual, deliver-ability, and segmentation practices
  • Ability to communicate and present metrics effectively to support strategic recommendations
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of data and how to put data to work
  • Seasoned oral and written communications skills
  • Detail-oriented and can work independently but also as a lean but scrappy team
  • Proficient in Word, Excel (including pivot tables), PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and other SaaS productivity tools

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in business, marketing, or related field is required, with at least 5 to 7 years of marketing communications, direct marketing, and product marketing or related experience.
  • Experience with technical products, including consumer electronics, is desired; D2C experience is a plus for our B2B2C go-to-market.
  • Prior experience in a startup or smaller firm is preferred, or alternately, a strong desire to leap into this type of environment and a great understanding of what that means.

Senior Accountant

We are experiencing strong growth and due to this growth, we are currently seeking a talented Senior Accountant to add to our Corporate Accounting team. This Senior Accountant position will have a broad range of responsibilities directly and indirectly related to the monthly close process.Core responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the general ledger close process including financial statement review and analysis from both U.S. GAAP and management perspectives
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, cash, and cash equivalents and accruals as part of the general ledger close process
  • Manage a variety of balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in the coordination of financial statement audits and reviews, including the preparation of audit schedules
  • Assist in the presentation of accounting analysis during the monthly & quarterly close meetings
  • Assist in managing the annual balance sheet review event
  • Spend a portion of time on special projects (e.g., continuing to build/enhance accounting practices, improving documentation, building more robust analytical reporting)
  • Provide accounting and general ledger business partner support, including A/P, invoicing, cash receipts, etc.; act as a liaison to selected business groups across finance
  • Provide a high level of customer service within finance and to other business partners
  • Produce standard and ad-hoc reporting to analyze trends vs. prior quarter and prior year for the statement of operations and the balance sheet
  • Communicate with confidence during close meetings on assigned balance sheet areas
  • Prepare memos on accounting issues as required

Technical skills and experience

  • B.S. in Accounting or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant financial accounting experience (mix of private and public experience preferred)
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and reporting
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or larger ERP systems
  • Comfortable working in a small, but rapidly-growing, start-up environment

Whisker Labs is seeking a Data Scientist to join our team extracting insights from electrical networks. This team is responsible for advancing Whisker Lab’s technology to detect early warning signs of electrical fires in homes, preventing one of the deadliest types of fires. The role will primarily focus on the design, development, and deployment of algorithms analyzing high speed real-time electrical sensor data.

Whisker Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team extracting insights from electrical networks. This team is responsible for advancing Whisker Lab’s infrastructure and technology to detect early warning signs of electrical fires in homes, preventing one of the deadliest types of fires. The Operations Support Specialist will report to the Director of Operations and help support and execute on operational tasks and responsibilities. You’ll be joining a small and experienced team of business leaders, software engineers, and data scientists seeking to make the world a safer and more efficient place.  Come join us!

Job Duties: 

  • Provide support to Ting customers by phone and email
  • Create and maintain clear, concise and accurate documentation for internal and external use
  • Act as a liaison to ensure smooth operations and service delivery to all customers and partners
  • Identify, report, and document technical issues to help isolate and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Support Engineering team with testing software and hardware
  • Order fulfillment and logistics coordination with our contract manufacturer
  • Troubleshoot issues down to the root cause
  • Perform other duties as required\
