Marketing Associate – Summer 2020 Intern

About the Role

In this summer internship role, you’ll be supporting a growing marketing function in the company.  You’ll share in various responsibilities spanning all aspects of marketing – content creation, product experience, partner channels, digital marketing, etc.

Overview of Responsibilities

As a strong marketing intern candidate, you’ll possess a good understanding of the latest digital and traditional marketing trends and techniques. You’re enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.  And you’re comfortable with and excited to help the team along one or more of these dimensions:

  • Creating and implementing marketing programs and campaigns
  • Driving customer acquisition, crafting customer journeys
  • Gathering and reporting on customer feedback across touchpoints, including NPS
  • Planning, coordinating and executing trade shows and events
  • Managing social media properties and engagement
  • Helping maintain the company’s web properties
  • Helping maintain and leverage email marketing and eCRM tools

Required Skills & Experience

  • Solid understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques
  • Ability to communicate and present metrics effectively to support recommendations
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Driven self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently and as a team

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in business, marketing or related field is required, ideally, a soon-to-be rising Senior graduating in the Spring of 2021.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel (including pivot tables), PowerPoint. Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus.
